Dreams...Illusions of this mysterious man were significantly affecting him. He couldn't think straight since the last night at the park. When he witnessed a dead child...Innocence lost to a vampire. After seeing this, why was he back here...At the park? He had hoped the vampire would be here. He had already played with his mind, waht more could he want? Zane couldn't sleep...Didn't eat much, and hadn't looked into many mirrors since seeing the bite marks on his smooth neck. No...He wouldn't let that happen to him. It was an illusion. That was all it was. That was all it had to be. But for some odd reason, he was beginning to develop a fear of some sort. He was the slayer. He shouldn't be fearful, but the constant watching and mysteriousness to this man could irk even the bravest souls. This vampire knew what he was doing...
As he walked through the park, he proceeded straight towards the bushes...Where the dead child lay, only a few days before. Innocence lost. Only a lifeless body remained...But even that was gone from the park now. How much more blood was going to be spilt? How much more would it take, before he could face off with his fears? He needed to face this mysterious vampire. It was the only way he could overcome it. The uncontrollable agony...The undesired fear. What he would do to be rid of it now. But it was never that easy. Even on the shell...There were always nightmares.

Kyne strolled through the park in search of a midnight snack, but slowed down, as he smelt the distinct scent of the male slayer. A smiled curved his lips and he followed his nose and as he always did kept to the shadows, moving silently. After the show last night he hadn’t expected the boy to come back to the park. He had been so distraught and angry over the child’s death. Kyne had been sure that he wouldn’t have wanted to stir up the already fresh memory. The boy was a bit hardier than he had thought though. Kyne finally came upon the boy and watched him for a couple minutes. He seemed very troubled. It was obvious that the child’s death was weighing down hard on him. The boy was looking into the spot where he had found the child.
Kyne walked out of the bushes, still making no noise and stopped. “Didn’ think you would be back so soon, mate,” he said and let his eyes draw to the bushes as well. “Last night must ‘ave been a traumatizing experience for you,” he said with fake sincerity. He looked the boy over, evaluating him. Pretty, not handsome yet but would be in a few years, slim yet muscular, a typical slayer.

Zane felt the silence press against him like the midnight breeze, but when he unexpectedly heard a voice, he froze in silence. It was the mysterious man. But this time he had revealed himself. He did look pretty intimidating. Tall...Dark, and definantly handsome. He did look muscular was well. Zane glared into the man's hypnotic dark eyes as he spoke, unable to look away. He didn't know why, but he just wasn't able to. The man had a smirk pressed onto his lips, typical vampire. "Don't call me mate." He glared at the vampire now, feeling anger boil up inside him. "You obviously don't know me very well then, do you?" He couldn't deny that the vampire's words were eating him up inside..Mainly because they were so true. "I'm here now...So obviously not traumatising enough." He lied. He couldn't sleep at all last night, and when he did he was dreaming of the darkness. A nightmare of chaos...Of this vampire. Even though the memory was fuzzy...It did show resemblance to the vampire standing before him now. A dark man, eyes so hypnotic...Teeth shining in the midnight. Zane continued to look at the vampire, as a stake slid down his wrist, ready to attack at any moment.

Kyne chuckled. The boy was lying to him. No doubt to keep his pride but it wouldn’t work. Kyne was a predator trained to know what went on in the minds of his prey, he studied them, he knew how they worked. He could read humans like an open book and he could read slayers to, not as well but still. It was a very helpful skill he had picked up on. He would be a physiologist if he were still human. “I see, Mr. Big Bad slayer ‘as his pride, ‘spose,” he said with a shrug and then looked down to see the stake in the boys hand. A smile instantly curved his lips as he watched the boy hold the weapon ready. He put his hand over his heart. “You want to kill me!? And here I was thinkin’ we could be pals,” he said in mock distress then smiled. “Come now slayer, there’s no need for violence,” he said then paused. “Who am I kiddin’! What would life be without a bit of good old violence,” he said and let out a laugh.

Zane continued to eye the vampire, ready to make a move at any moment, if need be. He walked foward slightly, with a small smirk surfacing upon his lips. "Pride? I thought you were the ones with too much of that." He glanced to the side, then eyed his stake, before placing his glance back on the vampire at mention of violence. "Yeah...Lets be buddies, why not? You can go sire someone, and I'll stake them. Wouldn't that just be wonderful." His sarchasm was obvious in his tone here, and although he hated the idea, he found it quite humurous. "Because you know...Talking to you is beginning to bore me. I think it would be more appropriate to just beat you up instead." He had determination in his eyes, with his fears slowy dwindling away. Now that he knew who he was up against, what was there to fear? He just looked like a nomral vampire...Though there was something still about him, that he couldn't understand.
He moved foward some more, with a few hands space between the vampire and himself. He didn't have a smirk on his face now. It was now an expression of focus. There was something about this vampire, and he needed to find out...He needed to stop him before it could become bad. Before he hurt the other slayer, or his friends.

Kyne watched as the boy moved forward slightly. It was such a small movement that it was obvious that the boy was trying to make it unnoticeable, but unfortunately for him Kyne tended to do the same so it didn’t really work. Kyne raised an eyebrow at the boys little jab about pride. He then watched as the boy looked at his stake. A smile played itself across Kyne’s lips, this boy was no major threat to him yet. Kyne’s eyes narrowed as the boy said that he was beginning to bore. Kyne smiled as the boy said it would be appropriate to beat him up. The slayer was a bit to big for his britches. It was one thing to say that he would beat Kyne up but to do so was a totally different matter. Kyne hadn’t become a master vampire by being stupid or sloppy. He had been careful and paranoid. He wasn’t about to underestimate his opponents as this boy was
The boy then took a couple steps closer so that they were a mere arms length apart. Kyne didn’t like it. He took a step back, as if he was backing down, then quickly launched off his right foot and slammed his shoulder into the boys chest, knocking him to the ground. He then danced back on the tip of his toes. Kyne had a very wolf like way of fighting, quickly execute the attack then get the hell away. “Oh my, it would seem that you have fallen on you’re arse, slayer,” he said giving him a sadistic grin.

What happened next, Zane could never have expected or prepared for. Just when he thought the vampire was drawing back, he lunged his shoulder at Zane, sending him to the ground in one instant movement. All Zane could do was display looks of shock and slight fear on his now pale face. He underestimated this man very greatly it seemed, and now he had to face the consequences. He crawled back slightly, still looking up at the man, as he began to breath heavier. Zane made it to his feet, staring down the man, before aiming a punch at his head. If all else fails....Hit back.

Kyne smiled at the obvious shock on the boys face. The boy then got up and threw a punch at Kyne’s head. He dodged it but didn’t expect the boy to also throw a punch at his gut. Kyne felt the punch hit hard but I didn’t knock the wind out of him since he had no need to breath anyways. Kyne growled and began to circle the boy. He didn’ t really want to fight him yet. He would entertain the slayer for a few minutes, but he wasn’t going to go all out. Kyne threw a fake punch at the slayer’s head stomach, but sent the real punch at the side of his head, hoping that it would hit home.

Zane smirked, feeling satisfied that he was able to touch the vampire, showing that he wasn't too strong for him. "Guess your not so untouchable out of the shadows." He watched the vampire circle him, before throwing a punch, which ended up being fake. Zane looked in confusion, but it was too late, for he had thrown a real punch at his head, sending Zane staggering to his knee hard. He looked up at the vampire, touching his head and feeling the pain of the blow. He then looked at his stake, attached to his wrist, before lunging it at the vampire. He wanted to end it now...He was sick of the mind games. It would also save having to do it later, especially if people's wellbeing was involved.

Kyne couldn’t hold back the primitive snarl that ripped from his throat as the boy lunged at him with the stake. It was the one thing that really got at him, being threatened with a stake. He valued his un-life and didn’t want have it end anytime soon. Kyne sidestepped at the last second and as the boy flew past him he stuck out his leg, tripping the boy. As the boy fell her grabbed the stake from him and threw it into the bushes. “I’m not ready to die, mate,” he growled at the slayer. He began to circle the boy again, not attacking him, not getting closer than a good five feet from him. “And a mere boy such as you will not be the one to end my un-life,” he said sneering. “I’ve killed slayer’s before and with two in this town its just double the fun,” he said laughing sadistically.

Once again, Zane not only underestimated his opponent, but had his hopes too high. Of course it wouldn't end this easy...Kyne wasn't just an average vampire, and he was learning that first hand. He was beginning to have frustration build up inside of him at the sight of this vampire humiliating him without breaking a sweat. He had to admit, he was slightly intimidated when the vampire mentioned killing slayers before him. That was sure to irk even the bravest of slayers. They could have been more skilled or experienced than him too. Zane looked up at the man, with the uttermost agitation. "Have you ever killed a male slayer?" He then lunged foward with a fast kick to the gut, hoping he had more luck in striking the mysterious man this time. He may not have been ready to die, but Zane was ready to slay him.

Kyne got ready to answer the boy’s question but didn’t get the chance as the boy landed a strong kick in his gut. Kyne growled again but he wasn’t about to let his anger control his actions. He kept calm and quickly was back on his feet before the boy could get an upper hand on him. “I ave’ not killed a male slayer yet,” he said then smiled. “Would you like to be my first,” he said curling his tongue behind his teeth and smiling at his own joke. Sexual jokes were always a lot of fun to make, mainly because most people were uncomfortable about sex in general. He continued to circle boy. “I may ave’ not killed a male slayer, but I ave’ killed three female slayer and I’m sure dear Janelle will love to be the fourth,” Kyne sneered and swung a kick at the boys legs to knock him off his feet, hoping to have made him angry and catch him off guard.

Zane barred his teeth at the vampire's comment. "Why don't you just try and kill me...If you can." The vampire then began speaking of Janelle, and he became infuriated. He was very protective of his friends, especially since they had a connection as a slayer. "If you hurt her...I will hunt you down and make you regret it." He didn't like making threats he couldn't follow up...But this one, he would make sure he followed up. Tis distraction of anger, allowed the vampire to trip him off his feet, sending him hard into the ground. He was getting his ass kicked right now, that was for sure. He began crawling to the side, hoping to get up and inflict some offence of his own. He wanted to hurt this vampire...Make his cockiness end.

Kyne smiled at the boy’s threats. Before the boy could get up Kyne quickly put his foot on the boys neck and pressed down. “I’d love to kill you slayer,” he said softly smiling at the boy. It was the truth he would love to kill the boy. He could end it all right now, he’d just have to put a bit more pressure on the boys neck. He smiled at the boy before speaking again. “I’m not through with you yet,” he nearly whispered and then removed his foot from the boys neck. He took a couple quick steps back. “You’re to intrestin’, mate,” he said smiling at the boy sadistically.

Before he was able to get up, he was flattened to the ground by the vampire's powerful foot, blocking any offence he wished to unleash. As much as it hurt, the emotional pain was more agitating to the slayer. He was forced to listen to the man's gloats, without the ability to do anything, but choke. Little air...It was a terrible feeling. But first hand, he was realising the power this vampire possessed. Zane was the vampire slayer, yet he was getting beaten so easily by this vampire. He needed to know why. He wanted to know.
When the pressure was relieved from his neck, he began holding it firmly, trying to regain his lost breath. Once he was able to focus, he looked up at the man speaking to him. He had never faced anyone this powerful before...It was almost chilling...Scary. But as a slayer, he had to fight. He had to continue on...Not only for his sake, but the sake of the person this vampire will go after next. He wasn't going to run and hide. All he could do was keep fighting...And hopefully prevail in the end. Although his chances weren't looking too exceedingly great at this current moment...He had faith that they would improve.
Zane was full of anger as result of the gloats from this man. He was too interesting? What was that supposed to mean? Admist the curiousity and pain in his neck, Zane stood up, not sure what to do next. He didn't have anymore flashy comebacks...He could only remain still...Breath heavily. He then found the strength inside him to make a move, lunging foward with yet another punch aimed at the vampire's head. Whether the blow would connect, was a question within itself. The same burning quesiton on whether he could stop this man from defeating him. He wasn't ready to die...Especially not tonight of all nights. He wasn't going to be made the prey of a vampire whom stalked him...Gloated him. He wouldn't be made a fool of by another vampire, that was for sure.
